Janet Corwin
Janet Diehl Corwin, Administrative Associate Senior, came "home" to the School of Music in 2004 after serving as Staff Accompanist at Topeka High School for eight years and at Lincoln High School in Nebraska for five years. She served as the Assistant to the Chair of the Department of Music and Dance for 5 years before moving to the new School of Music Dean's Office. Janet coordinates several administrative projects, including faculty searches, promotion and tenure, annual faculty evaluations, classroom reservations, Recitals 100 record-keeping, key inventory and other special projects.
Janet earned her BME degree here at the University of Kansas. She teaches piano in her home studio and plays for services at Lawrence Free Methodist Church. She has two grown sons and two granddaughters, who are her pride and joy. Her hobbies include knitting, quilting and cheering on the KU Jayhawks!
