Laura McCorkill joined the School of Music in September of 2009 as an Administrative Associate, responsible for Recital Scheduling and managing the Visitor Center. She earned two degrees from KU, a B.M.E in 1984 and an M.M.E. in 2010, and spent 22 years teaching music across the state of Kansas. She also spent over 20 years as the Choral Music Manager and as a Clinician for Midwestern Music Camp. Being a Jayhawk is a family tradition; her father, mother & grandmother have all worked on "The Hill". Laura is a member of the Lawrence Civic Choir and is active in her church choir as a singer and substitute conductor.
