Lisa Shaw has been with the University of Kansas since 1992. She joined the School of Fine Arts in 2002 serving as Budget Director/Business Manager and Auditor for all departments within the School. Lisa will oversee all the financial operations in the new School of Music. Lisa also compiles and analyzes financial data necessary to develop and prepare the annual budget for the School. Before joining the School of Music, Lisa worked four years as director of budget, institutional research, and reporting in the School of Law. Prior to that, she worked in the University Payroll department and at Watson Library.

Lisa has extensive experience in banking and retail management. She served five years as a supervisor and remote center manager for 5 area banks, with the daily resources exceeding twenty-five million dollars.

Lisa has also managed several retail stores over the course of her career.
