Choral Placement Registration

All new and returning students must complete a placement audition for the 2015-2016 season. Please click the link above to sign up for a placement time and create a KU Choral account, which will be used to place you in a choir. Returning students must update their information (class, availability, etc...).

  • Friday, August 21, 2015 - Murphy Hall, Room 330
  • Saturday, August 22, 2015 - Murphy Hall, Room 330
  • Monday, August 24, 2015 - Murphy Hall, Room 330
  • Tuesday, August 25, 2015 - Murphy Hall, Room 330

Placement Assessment

Assessments will be held in Murphy Hall, Room 330. Please show up 5 minutes prior to your scheduled time. This will allow for your picture to be taken and your registration to be finalized.

The assessment will last 5 minutes and will consist of:

-Vocalization
-Pitch-matching
-Singing one verse of "My Country, 'Tis of Thee" (pdf)
-Sight-reading

Placement Results

Placement results for all choirs will be posted online by midnight (12:00 a.m.) Tuesday, Aug. 25 (Tuesday night).
