Music Minor

The minor in music is open to all KU students who are not currently majoring in music.

Students must first audition to be accepted as music minors through successful completion of the audition process, then may earn a minor in music by taking 24 hours in the courses listed below. At least 12 hours must be junior/senior-level courses, numbered 300 and above. A minimum grade-point average of 2.0 in the minor coursework is required.
