Emma Casey joined the staff of the School of Music in 2014 as Recruitment Coordinator. A proud alumna of the KU School of Music, Emma graduated with her Bachelor’s degree in Flute Performance in 2011. She then completed her masters degree in Flute Performance at the Chicago College of Performing Arts at Roosevelt University where she studied with Dionne Jackson and graduated in 2013.

Prior to returning to KU, Emma worked at the Kellogg School of Management at Northwestern University where she supported the Dean in a communication and event planning capacity. Previously, she was Assistant Manager of Audience Services at the Chicago Humanities Festival, an arts and culture non-profit organization. She is also an active freelance and chamber musician.

Emma is thrilled to return to KU and is proud to be a lifelong Jayhawk!
