Gabriella Bernard presented at the Global Scholars Seminar

Presenting at the Global Scholars Symposium this April was a great experience! It was a culminating event for the program. Bernard presented along with her peers in the Global Scholars Symposium about their individualized research focused on current global issues and concepts. Bernard presented the results of her systematic review and engaged in discussion with individuals from other specialties and areas of research. Bernard plans to continue working on this project and develop it into a manuscript for publication. 
 
Title: Systematic Review of Trauma-Informed Care Practices with Music for Refugees: Implications for Music Therapy Practice. 
 
Edited Purpose: (a) To identify characteristics of studies using music to address trauma, (b) summarize and describe reported outcomes, and (c) discuss possible implications for music therapy clinical work with this population.
