The International Institute for Young Musicians L.L.C. is an American organization dedicated to creating world-class opportunities for young musicians from around the globe. IIYM assists participants in translating artistic vision into high performance through direct, practical, and fully involved guidance from internationally renowned professionals. The IIYM Summer Music Academy, under the direction of Dr. Scott McBride Smith, is an internationally recognized course of intensive study for young musicians, offering instruction to students from around the world who wish to improve their mastery of performance.

Student Achievements

IIYM students enjoy success all over the world. Our students have been named Steinway Young Artists, featured in the media, and won top prizes in international piano competitions.
