Joyce Castle celebrates 40 years in opera

Joyce Castle, professor of voice/opera and Grammy award-winning mezzo soprano, is celebrating her 40th year in opera this year. The Pulitzer Prize-winning composer, William Bolcom, has written The Hawthorn Tree for Castle to be performed in NYC, Washington, D.C., Fort Worth, TX, as well as Lawrence, KS at the Lied Center in January of 2011.
