KU doctoral student invited to perform at NYC music festival

Mary Elizabeth Thompson, DMA candidate in flute performance studying with Professor David Fedele, has been invited to perform for the New York City Electroacoustic Music Festival in New York City on March 25, 2010 at City University of New York. She will perform Ariel for flute, alto flute, and tape by Jorge Sosa with Kansas City flutist Rebecca Ashe.
