KU Wind Ensemble to perform "New Paradigms" at Lied Center

The University of Kansas Wind Ensemble will perform “New Paradigms,” their final concert of the spring held at the Lied Center on Tuesday, May 10, 7:30 p.m.

With Paul Popiel as conductor, Steven Bryan as resident composer and Cheryl Lee as guest conductor, the ensemble will perform works by David Maslanka, Edgard Varese, Michael Daugherty and a composition entitled “Esctatic Waters” by guest composer Steven Bryant.

Tickets are $7/gen admission and $5/students and seniors and can be purchased at the Lied Center of Kansas: 785-864-2787 / www.lied.ku.edu.
