Lois Elmer serves in a dual capacity as the scheduling officer for the School of Music (SOM) and as the office manager and primary contact for Music Education and Music Therapy (MEMT). She provides a variety of information such as program, admission and advising procedures, and enrollment processes.

As scheduling officer she is responsible for overseeing, administering, and coordinating the SOM schedule of classes production and associated room schedules. In her role as MEMT office manager she provides student records management for undergraduate and graduate MEMT students from pre-admission through post-graduation.

Additionally, she provides direct assistance to the MEMT division director, MEMT graduate director, and the School of Music Associate Dean for Academic Affairs.
