Music student named semi-finalist in international competition

Bo Atlas has been named a semi-finalist in the Artist Division of the ITEA Solo Tuba competition, an international competition sponsored by the International Tuba Euphonium Association. Bo will compete in the semi-final round in Arizona in May. Bo is a junior in tuba performance and is Principal Tuba in the Topeka Symphony. He is also a winner of the Great Plains Conference Solo Competition in 2009 and is a student of Professor Scott Watson.
