Music theory student receives KU Graduate School research fellowship

Peter Purin, a doctoral candidate in music theory at KU, recently received $5,000 for a Summer Research Fellowship from KU’s Graduate School to support the completion of his dissertation on the music of Stephen Sondheim. Purin is a third year doctoral student from New York.
