Paradigm Vocal Ensemble presents spring concerts

Paradigm Vocal Ensemble, directed by Paul Tucker, KU's Associate Director of Choral Activities, will perform at Bales Organ Recital Hall on Friday, April 20, at 7:30 p.m. and on Saturday, April 21, at Visitation Catholic Church in Kansas City, MO, at 7:30 p.m.

Paradigm Vocal Ensemble is comprised of twenty-five vocalists from diverse backgrounds. Professor Tucker directs the group and is a founding member. The ensemble was created in 1994 as a volunteer group who wanted to perform the widest range of choral music possible. The ensemble's membership shows a unique diversity of professional disciplines, with its composition of college students, teachers, and business executives and professionals.

Paradigm has recorded five albums and has acquired a reputation as the best studio recording group in Dallas.

Free tickets for the Bales Organ Recital Hall performance on Friday can be obtained by calling the KU Department of Music and Dance at 785.864.3436. The concert at Visitation Catholic Church on Saturday evening is free and seating is open to the public. For more information about Paradigm Vocal Ensemble, visit www.paradigmvocalensemble.org.
