KU Symphony Orchestra Concerto Concert February 6 at Lied Center

The University of Kansas Symphony Orchestra Concerto Concert will take place on Monday, February 6, 2012, at 7:30 pm, at the Lied Center of Kansas. Tickets are $7/gen admission and $5/students and seniors. David Neely is conducting and Carlos Espinosa will be student conductor.

The concert will feature soloists Shan-Ken Chien on violin; Bo Atlas on tuba; Kanako Chikami on marimba; Inge Buniardi on piano; Yangmingtian Zhao on piano; and Soojin Kim on piano. The program will feature works by Carl Maria von Weber; Maurice Ravel; Ralph Vaughan Williams; Anders Koppel; Rachmaninov and Chopin.
