Professor Kip Haaheim takes part in Spooner Hall program and concert

Professor Kip Haaheim (music composition) will take part in a program entitled "Nature's Mix: Dialogue in the Round" at The Commons, Spooner Hall, on March 31, 2010, at 7:00 p.m. This event will be a discussion about food sovereignty, the relationship between natural habitat and agriculture, and the importance of working with rural social movements to promote ecological sustainability. Participants in the conversation include the authors of Nature's Matrix, as well as Professor Haaheim who has worked with students to create an original composition in response to the ideas in the book. This musical work will be premiered in the second half of the program. Free admission!
