University Band

The University Band is an outstanding ensemble available to all students at the University of Kansas and is an open admission ensemble requiring no entrance audition. It is conducted by Professor Thomas Stidham, Associate Director of Bands. The University Band provides musical challenge and growth as well as fellowship to all who enjoy performing. The University Band meets during the Fall on Tuesday evenings from 6:00- 7:20 and in the Spring on Tuesdays and Thursdays from 4:00-5:15.

How to Join

No audition is required. Students should enroll in either Band 206 or Band 406 and bring their instruments to the first rehearsal.
