Choral

The choral ensemble experience at the University of Kansas is diversified and comprehensive, ranging from traditional to experimental, classical to jazz, and intimate to grandiose. Each of our eleven choirs has its own identity, and combine for special events such as the annual Holiday Vespers, broadcast throughout the region, and major concerts with orchestra.

The University of Kansas offers the MM and DMA degrees in choral conducting, and the MME and PhD degrees in choral pedagogy.

Membership in KU Choirs is open to any KU student by audition. Information about our faculty/staff, ensembles, auditions and traditions are found on the KU Choral Music Website.

Visit the KU Choral Music Website.
