Undergraduate

All students not in the School of Music must apply with the Music Audition Application for admittance to music degrees. Music scholarships are awarded to students majoring in music, except athletic band scholarships and jazz rhythm section scholarships. Auditions for jazz ensembles and jazz combos are held during the first few days of classes. Information is posted at the KU Band Office, 124 Murphy Hall.

Scholarships are awarded only for the rhythm section (piano, bass, guitar, drums).
