Thank you for your interest in auditioning for the University of Kansas School of Music. Our students participate in the tradition of excellence that defines the wide variety of degree programs and performance organizations within the School of Music.

A charter member of the National Association of Schools of Music (1928), we proudly carry on the tradition of over 100 years of artistic and academic success. A dedicated and distinguished faculty with more than 60 members gives students opportunities to study with professionals in all major areas.

Below are the audition packets for undergraduate and graduate students. Please read over the information carefully and follow all steps to schedule your audition.

Note: any student who wishes to major or minor in music must successfully pass an audition and meet academic requirements. If you have questions regarding degree programs or need help or more information, please contact music@ku.edu or call (785) 864-3436.

UNDERGRADUATE AUDITION APPLICATION

Read the information in the packet carefully and submit your audition application no later than three weeks prior to your audition date.

Paper Form: In order to secure an audition, you must fax the audition application to (785) 864-5866 at least three days prior to your requested audition date.

GRADUATE AUDITION APPLICATION
