Housing

Making the decision to live on campus is an important first choice in your KU career. Get better grades. Graduate on time. Find friends for life. Live green! I invite you to live on campus and experience all the best KU has to offer.

Diana L. Robertson, Ph.D., Director
KU Department of Student Housing

Student Housing ensures the basics - living space that's secure, well-maintained, and conveniently located. And Student Housing is committed to providing academic support, leadership development, experiences with different cultures, and even part-time employment.

Student Housing offers personal or group tours of all three on-campus communities:
  • Residence halls are the largest on-campus community offering traditional 2-person rooms plus renovated suite-style buildings.
  • Scholarship halls are unique. The 50 residents per building help with hall duties such as cooking and cleaning then pay less for room and meals.
  • The Jayhawker Towers and Stouffer Place are apartments for non-traditional students, graduate students, and students with families.
