Student News: Kevin Kyaw assistant artistic director for Myanmar Music Festival

Kevin Kyaw (MM student, piano) has been running the Myanmar Music Festival (MMF), an international music festival in his home country, Myanmar (formerly Burma), as an assistant artistic director. Despite many challenges, the MMF organization successfully premiered its 7th season of MMF Celebration Concert online celebrating Beethoven’s 250th Anniversary as well as his Burmese contemporary composer-poet Queen Ma Mya Lay in December 2020. MMF is proud to be supported by the US Embassy in Yangon as well as the Embassy of the European Union, and to have the participation of more than 60 performers from five countries in this project.
