Biography

Anna Paradis joined the School of Music in 2020 as our Graduate Student Services Coordinator but has worked as a graduate administrator at KU since 2008. Anna works with prospective and current graduate students in collaboration with the Associate Deans for Academic Affairs, Internationalization & Special Performance Projects, and for Diversity, Equity, Inclusion, and Belonging (DEIB). She is the main contact for graduate-related inquiries in the School of Music, including Music Education and Music Therapy (MEMT). In her role, she maintains the musicgrad@ku.edu email account, manages the application process, and student records management, and provides milestone and graduation resources. She also advises the School of Music Diversity Fellows Program.

Anna is a parent of two Lawrence kids and an Air Force Veteran. She received her B.F.A. in printmaking from Boise State University, her M.A. in museum studies from KU, and is currently pursuing two Graduate Certificates, in Public Administration and Environmental Justice. She is committed to KU and the Lawrence Community and works hard to advocate for student needs as a life-long learner.
