Please note: due to Covid 19 concerns, KU School of Music will be offering video auditions in lieu of the live auditions.


Audition Requirements:
Graduate Certificate in Music Performance:
Candidates are to prepare a 15‐minute program for their video audition.

MM in Performance:
Candidates are to prepare a 15‐minute program for their video audition.

DMA in PerformanceCandidates are to prepare a 30‐minute program for their video audition. 


Please complete a video audition and email the link (YouTube or Vimeo) directly to the studio faculty in your area of study (see list below) and copy musicgrad@ku.edu

REPERTOIRE: Selections should demonstrate a variety of playing styles and compositional periods and represent the candidate’s performance skills in the best possible light. The audition need not be accompanied For more information, contact the faculty member listed below.
