KU DMA student named "rising artist"

Jayoung Hong, DMA piano student studying with Professor Jack Winerock, was recently named as a "rising artist" in the Rising Artists Evening piano concerti-Season III program, presented by the New York Concert Artists and Associates. Hong was selected after submitting a solo program audition. She will perform Beethoven's Third Piano Concerto with the Manhattan Chamber Orchestra on May 5 at Merkin Concert Hall at the Kaufman Center, New York.
