Men's Glee tours Wichita
The Men's Glee choir toured the Wichita area April 13-15, 2011. The group performed at the Kansas Honors Program in Kingman; Wichita Southeast High School; Derby High School; Goddard High School; Andover High School; and Wichita Northwest High School.
The repertoire included Think on Me by James Mulholland; Shenandoah, arranged by Alice Parker and Robert Shaw; At the River by Aaron Copland, arr. R. Wilding White; There is a Balm in Gilead by William L. Dawson; and Bring Him Home by Claude-Michel Schonberg, arr. John Leavitt.
Chris Krampe was conductor of the Men's Glee on this tour. Krampe has his master's degree in organ/church music from KU and is currently pursuing his doctoral degree at KU in choral conducting with Professor Paul Tucker.
