Musicology Professor Paul Laird publishes and presents articles

Paul Laird, Professor of Musicology, published the article "The Violoncello's Commercial in Retrospective and Revival" in Instrumental Music and the Industrial Revolution (Bologna: Ut Orpheus Edizioni, 2010), edited by Roberto Illiano and Luca Sala. This volume is the proceedings from a conference by the same name that took place in Cremona, Italy in July 2006. Laird also recently presented the paper "The Influence of Leonard Bernstein on Stephan Schwartz" at the American Musicological Society Midwest Chapter meeting at Lawrence, KS on April 17, 2010."
