Ron Barron to preform as part of KU Brass & Percussion Master

As part of the KU Brass & Percussion Master Series program at KU, visiting artist Ron Barron will perform trombone tomorrow evening, Tuesday, Feb. 16, at 7:30 pm in Swarthout Recital Hall. This event is free and open to the public. Barron will perform works by Eric Ewazen, Eric Alexander, Norman Bolter, James Willey and Herbert L. Clarke. Barron was principal trombonist for the Boston Symphony Orchestra from 1975-2008. He will be accompanied by KU's own Ellen Bottorff on piano.
