University Band

The University Band is available to all students at the University of Kansas and is an open-admission ensemble requiring no entrance audition. The University Band provides musical challenge and growth as well as fellowship to all who enjoy performing. The University Band meets in the fall on Tuesday evenings from 6:30-7:50 p.m. and in the spring on Tuesdays and Thursdays from 6:00-7:20 p.m.

How to Join

No audition is required to join University Band, BAND 406/706. Students should enroll and bring their instruments to the first rehearsal.
