Prairie Winds Band Director Symposium

The University of Kansas Division of Music Education and Music Therapy and the University of Kansas Bands invite current and future band directors to participate in the Prairie Winds Symposium for Band Directors. In this day of professional development sessions, teachers will learn ways to become better conductors, pedagogues, and leaders of their programs. 

Credit and non-credit options are available for all participants. The day concludes with a performance at the Lied Center by the KU Wind Ensemble, KU Jazz Ensemble I, Crossroads Wind Symphony, and the Prairie Winds High School Festival Band.
