Biography

Anna Paradis currently works as the Director for Graduate Student Services and Impact Advisor for the School of Music. She is the main contact for graduate-related inquiries in the school, including Music Education and Music Therapy (MEMT). In her role, she maintains the musicgrad@ku.edu email account, manages the graduate application process, student records management, and provides milestone and graduation resources. She also advises the School of Music Community Fellows and KU Mentored Scholars Program (MSP) students, drawing on her experiences as a first generation college student to help current and prospective students navigate KU.

Anna was born in Kansas, but moved around throughout her life before settling in Lawrence. She is a parent and a US Air Force Veteran, who continues to pursue higher education, specialized training, and life experiences. Committed to KU and the Lawrence Community, she works hard to advocate for student needs as a life-long learner.
