Biography

Anna Paradis currently works as the Graduate Student Services Coordinator for the School of Music. She is the main contact for graduate-related inquiries in the School of Music, including Music Education and Music Therapy (MEMT). In her role, she maintains the musicgrad@ku.edu email account, manages the application process, and student records management, and provides milestone and graduation resources. She also advises the School of Music Community Fellows Program, drawing on her experiences as a first generation college student to help current and prospective students navigate KU.

Anna is a parent of two Lawrence kids and a US Air Force Veteran. She received her B.F.A. in printmaking from Boise State University, her M.A. in museum studies natural history track and an Environmental Justice Graduate Certificate from KU. She is currently pursuing two Graduate Certificates; one in Public Administration - City & County Management at KU, and one in Outdoor Recreation Economy from the University of Colorado Boulder. Anna is committed to KU and the Lawrence Community and works hard to advocate for student needs as a life-long learner.
