Anna Paradis joined the School of Music in 2020 as our Graduate Student Services Coordinator but has worked as a graduate administrator at KU since 2008. Anna works with prospective and current graduate students in collaboration with the Associate Dean for Academic Affairs, Dr. Colin Roust, and the Associate Dean for Diversity, Equity, Inclusion, and Belonging (DEIB), Dr. Margaret Marco. She is the main contact for graduate-related inquiries in the School of Music, including Music Education and Music Therapy (MEMT). In her role, she will maintain the firstname.lastname@example.org email account, manage the application process, student records management, and provide milestone and graduation resources. She also advises the School of Music Diversity Fellows Program.
Anna is a parent of two Lawrence kids and an Air Force Veteran. She received her B.F.A. in printmaking from Boise State University, her M.A. in museum studies from KU, and is currently pursuing a Public Administration Graduate Certificate. She is committed to KU and the Lawrence Community and works hard to advocate for student needs as a life-long learner.
