Mackenzie McKeithan Jensen

Mackenzie McKeithan Jensen, from South Dakota, has nine years of teaching experience. She served as the director of bands at T.F. Riggs in Pierre, SD and the faculty adviser of the 2022-2023 Tri-M Chapter of the Year winner. She pursued her B.A. in K-12 Instrumental Music Education from Augustana University, received her Master of Music Education degree from Northern State University, and is currently pursuing her Ph.D. in Music Education and Music Instruction through University of Kansas. She is the current South Dakota All State Band Chairperson and the South Dakota Music Education Association's Tri-M Chairperson. During her time in Pierre, Mrs. McKeithan Jensen has worked to create a culture of passion, determination, and excellence.
