Biography

Ms. Brill Munczek has done research and study of the Alexander Technique, vocal pedagogy and the "Care of the Professional Voice", 19th and 20th-century French vocal literature, the vocal literature of Israeli composers and Ladino/Sephardic song literature. Several of her former students have gone on to sing throughout the United States and Europe in opera, musical theater, chamber and choral music, as well as hold teaching positions at several universities and colleges.

Ms. Brill Munczek has served as an adjudicator for the Metropolitan Opera district auditions; Kansas Music Teachers Association; Missouri and Kansas All-State Festivals; the Texas Interscholastic League; National Association of Teachers of Singing district and regional competitions; and the NATSAA Singer of the Year National Competition. She is a member of the National Association of Teachers of Singing and Pi Kappa Lambda.
