The University of Kansas School of Music is pleased to announce the Recognition Ceremony for the class of 2023. The event will take place on Saturday, May 13th, at 10:30 a.m. in the Crafton-Preyer Theatre at Murphy Hall.

The graduation ceremony is a celebration of the hard work, dedication, and accomplishments of the graduating class. It is a time for the faculty, staff, students, and families to come together to recognize and honor the achievements of the graduates.

"We are so proud of our graduating class and all that they have accomplished during their time at the University of Kansas School of Music," said Paul Popiel, Interim Dean for the School of Music. "They have worked tirelessly to hone their skills and develop their talents, and we know that they will go on to do great things in their careers and in their lives."

During the ceremony, graduates will be recognized individually. The ceremony will also feature remarks from distinguished guests, including Provost and Executive Vice Chancellor Barbara Bichelmeyer and Distinguished Professor of Electrical Engineering and Computer Science Perry Alexander.

The ceremony is open to the public, and all are welcome to attend. Tickets are not required, and seating is available on a first-come, first-served basis. The Crafton-Preyer Theatre is located at 1530 Naismith Drive, Lawrence, KS 66045.
