KU Chamber Choir Achieves Remarkable Success at the 27th International Choir Competition in Preveza, Greece


Preveza, Greece - The University of Kansas School of Music proudly announces the extraordinary achievements of its Chamber Choir at the 41st International Choir Festival held in Preveza, Greece. Competing against choirs from around the world, the University of Kansas Chamber Choir won First Prize in their competition categories, Category G (Free Program) and Category A (Mixed Choirs), solidifying their position as a formidable force in the choral community. This accomplishment is a testament to their unwavering commitment to musical excellence and the tireless efforts of Director Eduardo Garcia-Novelli.

 

The accolades did not stop there, as the University of Kansas Chamber Choir was also honored with the Special Prize for Best Program and the esteemed Best Conductor award for Director Eduardo Garcia-Novelli.
